Blended from the harvest of various years to ensure consistent quality, this blanc de blancs champagne is a classic example of the style – smooth with a characteristic luminosity.
Established in the year 1729, Champagne Ruinart, is acclaimed throughout the world as one of the oldest champagne houses. At the same time, it also shares a place among the most esteemed champagne houses of the world.
Fine, light bubbles. Delicate Chardonnay grapes give it an instantly recognisable golden yellow colour. On the palate, it develops a fresh, supple roundedness.
Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes.
The intensity and simultaneous lightness of Ruinart Blanc de Blancs is achieved by using a blend of 100% chardonnay, mainly from premiers crus in Côte des Blancs (69%) and Montagne de Reims (31%), and 20-25% reserve wines. The chalkiness of the soil allows for a pure expression of the grape’s flavours, and ageing in the crayères develops its aromatic richness.
Since 1729, the first ever established Champagne House has looked to preserve its ancestral savoir-faire and carefully cultivate the soil its exceptional wines are rooted in. In light of the ever-growing environmental challenges, Maison Ruinart, entering its 4th century of existence, takes a decisive step forward in its commitment to the preservation of living soils and the transmission of know-how, art and culture.
