The domaine owns a 0.87-hectare parcel with 45-year-old vines in Clos des Chênes. Hombeline explained that their hard work in the vineyard was now apparent in the wine. Her father had long described the site as the Chambolle-Musigny of the Côte de Beaune. While Lafarge and Lafon made Clos des Chênes famous, Guyon is now competing with them by producing a highly accomplished mineral expression of the terroir.
