2022 Riesling Mosel Wintricher Geierslay Kabinett, Gunther Steinmetz, Mosel, Germany

From a steep south-facing slope of 55 degrees, Wintricher Geierslay has historically been valued as a class 1 site, producing wines of great quality. Bright, with lots of lush fruit on the nose--passion fruits, pineapple and apricot--followed by a palate full of fruit and bright minerality. Beautiful.
