Tiefenbrunner rarely disappoints when it comes to its incredible portfolio of wine and its Schiava is no different. This is super crunchy and fresh, with layers of red fruit and a brilliant, racy energy. Look out for those wonderful flavours of candied strawberry and black pepper on the finish.
Tiefenbrunner is one of the oldest and most iconic wine estates in Italy's Trentino Alto Adige and has been crafting world-class wine since the mid-19th century. Patriarch Herbert Tiefenbrunner began his career in the wine game as a winemaker at the tender age of 15 years old with a philosophy of crafting excellent wines with unique personalities, focusing largely on unblended, single-varietal wines. Hailing from this part of Italy, it is unsurprising that the name of this prestigious estate takes on a Germanic influence and if you were to visit, you'd be forgiven for thinking you were in Germany or Austria; from the local architecture to local dress, food and finally, the style of these wines is arguably more akin to that of its northern neighbours. Tiefenburnner work according to sustainable practice, these are some of the finest wines in Italy. Don't waste any time getting one of their bottles into your glass, thank us later!
