2021 Blanc de Noir, Spatburgunder, Organic, Weingut Seckinger, Palatinate, Rhineland, Germany

The Seckingers' Blanc de Noir is a single-variety Spätburgunder. The grapes come from young vineyards and were pressed white, i.e. directly. As a result, only a little colour comes from the red grape skins into the must and the wine has a delicate salmon tone, depending on the vintage. In the mouth, the wine is very light, yet taut and crisp with a nice interplay of sweetness and acidity. Juicy grapefruit, a little rhubarb and lemon give the Blanc de Noir a lot of drinkability. A wine for many moments - whether for breakfast or lunch or together with friends on the balcony.
