2019 Gevrey Chambertin, La Justice, Domaine Antonin Guyon

Antonin Guyon own 2.58 hectares of this lieu-dit that is located just east of the village of Gevrey. The soil type is particularly complex, with varying proportions of clay, limestone and silt. The 2018 was terrific, but the 2019 might be even better – morello cherry fruits and spices, with increasingly refined tannins that frame the palate discreetly. La Justice drinks well on release but can also be cellared with confidence.
