2018 Averaen Pinot Noir, Eola Springs Vineyard

Translucent ruby-red. A deeply perfumed bouquet displays black raspberry, cherry-cola, potpourri and allspice scents. Musky earth and woodsmoke notes build with air. Ripe, spice-accented red and dark berry flavors show very good intensity and become sweeter on the back half. Round, even tannins add shape and grip to a long, penetrating finish that repeats the floral and earth notes.
